Philosophical Problems in Contemporary Economics
Selected problems with the neoclassical paradigm, with emphasis on the relationship of happiness and well-being to economics. Topics may include rational choice and human agency, cognition and neuroeconomics, gender, social institutions, economic development and economic justice. In this largely seminar course, prominent non-mainstream views of economics are read.
